Christmas can be a time when routines slip as we relax over holidays and celebrations.

Here's four quick tips from us to help you stay healthy and have a safe and enjoyable break.

1. Drink plenty of water:

We often eat differently over the Christmas period, so make sure you are keeping up fluids, especially if enjoying a salty ham or sweet fruit cake.

2. Keep moving:

Your gym or the people you usually exercise with might not be available for a week or two, but getting up and active can be a great way to keep feeling good during this time, especially if you are enjoying some treats during the holidays.

3. Keep your food safe:

Speaking of treats, keep them safe to eat by ensuring meats and dairy are kept cold in a fridge or esky, and hot foods are cooked or reheated really well so you don't get sick.

4. Stay connected:

If you aren't seeing friends or family, please remember there are lots of other people you can talk to every single day of the year, reach out to your local Support Worker if you need to chat, we are here for you.

Enjoy a great break, no matter how you are spending it, and we look forward to seeing you again really soon.
