Gangalidda, Garawa and Waanyi

This very remote community in the lower Gulf is the original home of our supports. We have a dedicated hub that offers a place for workers and clients to connect, participate in activities and develop skills. Our accessible Inclusive Support vehicle facilitates community connection and on-country activities.

OUR TEAM
Led by local voices.
At EMG Inclusive Supports we are a connected family built on trust, empathy and deep community pride. We believe lasting change begins within—our team is made up of people from the very communities we support. They bring local knowledge, cultural respect and work with care, purpose and a strong sense of responsibility.

Together, we help communities grow their capabilities and shape their own futures.

Roseanne George
Support Worker
Roseanne loves fishing, singing and helping people. She has already used the latter skill to support her two sisters into Support roles and with her clients.
With ties to both the Yunjulla and Gangalidda peoples, she has been part of the Doomadgee community her entire life.
Her dream is to see more younger people supporting Elders and disadvantaged people in the community.

Lance Becker
Team Leader
Lance is a hands-on leader supporting day-to-day operations, guiding Support Workers on the ground, and building team capability.
He’s known for the strong relationships he builds with his team and the people we support, championing community growth and culturally respectful practices. Leading by example, he works alongside team members to create meaningful outcomes across the Doomadgee community.
With experience in the disability sector and a diverse background spanning automotive repair, goat shepherding and olive harvesting, Lance brings a deep respect for connection to Country, people development, local ownership, and using resources with care and purpose — values he carries into his work at EMG Inclusive Supports.

Shariel Cassar

incredible people who make up our workforce across Country.

Serina Joe
Support Worker
As a Yunjulla and Gangalidda woman, Serina is dedicated to making sure cultural knowledge is retained in her Gulf community. A keen fisher, she has enjoyed taking clients to the local river to wet a line.
She also loves that her role keeps her busy and helping out the Doomadgee community, and over the past months has dedicated herself to helping her clients home environment’s be as clean and comfortable as possible.

Gelina Joe
Support Worker
Despite being fairly new to Inclusive Supports, Gelina has found joy in improving not only her client’s houses and yards, but also our Doomadgee vehicle. She likes driving around the community and the connection that brings for both her and our clients, and has dedicated herself to making sure the bus is cleaned inside and out for this.
The sister of both Serina and Roseanne, she also has connections to both the Yunjulla and Gangalidda people, and like many in Doomadgee, was a great horse rider in her youth.
